Intervention Africa Consultants CC is proud to host a Conference aimed at examining and providing solutions for some of the current challenges to HIV/AIDS in the Workplace. Within the context of a growing national and regional health pandemic that targets primarily those most productive in the population and contributes to the decline in business productivity and profitability, all sectors have a significant role to play in managing HIV/AIDS in the workplace. The main challenges include; the loss of experienced personnel, absenteeism through AIDS-related illnesses, increased recruitment and training costs, increased labour turnover and low productivity.

Objectives of the Conference

This conference seeks to:

• bring both public and private organisations to share on the impact, challenges and solutions of HIV/AIDS in the Workplace
• direct policy initiatives toward implementing programmes that benefit employees
• energize participating organisations enabling them to initiate employee – centered workplace programmes
• establish a networking forum
